As part of the II Week of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, our University presented the sixth edition of The Makers Fest, an event that promotes creativity and entrepreneurship.
This Anáhuac Mayab entrepreneurship fair is organized by the Technology and Innovation Park, tecniA, the Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship Program, Genera, the Entrepreneurship Department and the Innovation Department, areas that make up the A-Hub.

This edition brought together 58 new brands incubated in the TecniA Park and corresponding to 8 categories: Food, Beverages, Cosmetics, Sweets, Home, Services, Desserts and Fashion and accessories.
The meeting was held on Thursday, October 17 from 9 am to 6 pm at the university campus, where entrepreneurs offered their products and services for sale.
The inaugural tour was attended by Diana Patricia Luna McCarthy, Director of Innovation, AHub; Antonio González Blanco, Director of the Technological and Innovation Park, TecniA; Mayra Domínguez Zenteno, Director of Entrepreneurship and José Miguel Medrano Méndez, Coordinator of Leadership Groups at Universidad Anáhuac.
In addition to The Makers Fest, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week included activities such as: keynote lectures, Uchallenge (entrepreneurship challenge), prototype fair, A-talks (talks), stand decoration contest and Elevator pitch contest for entrepreneurs, by the leadership group GENERA; Workshops, workshops given by entrepreneurs and Meet the Founder, where entrepreneurs will share their stories.
